PRELUDE:
Granholm – A vast, industrialized empire with a population of 180 million. It commands powerful armies, but its resource reserves, especially oil and rare earth minerals, are nearly exhausted after decades of expansion. Taloria– A smaller nation of only 12 million people, situated on Granholm’s southern border. Taloria is agrarian, with a modest military, but a recent geological survey uncovered enormous oil fields and rich deposits of cobalt and lithium near its northern frontier—the very border it shares with Granholm.
When the discovery of Taloria’s resources becomes public, Granholm’s ruling council grows restless. Granholm’s economy is faltering, its energy grid on the brink of collapse, and its industrial complex dependent on imported oil. The prospect of wealth lying just across the border awakens jealousy and hunger in the empire’s leadership.
Taloria, hopeful for a better future, begins courting foreign investors to help develop its resources. This alarms Granholm, which sees foreign influence in Taloria as a direct threat. Granholm accuses Veloria of “destabilizing the border region” and begins staging military exercises ominously close to the frontier.
BORDER WAR:
October frost touches the morning ground of Talorian. A small outpost outside a Talorian village close to the border witnesses rumblings of large-scale military movements. Soon after, Granholm launches “Operation Cerberus,” claiming it is a “protective intervention” to secure border stability. In truth, it is a full-scale invasion designed to seize the oil fields and mineral-rich plains.
Granholm’s armored divisions surge across the plains, overwhelming Taloria’s border defenses. Taloria’s army, though courageous, is under-equipped. Cities along the border are quickly occupied, and Granholm’s state media declares them “liberated territories.”
FACTIONS
Red Sovereign's Grasp (RSG) - Granholm’s major force to take complete control over the region of Taloria and establish it as its own territory. Made up of the general army, private organizations and the State Special Mobilization force.
Loadout Requirements (Generally GREEN variations): Russian Camo, German Camo Green, Any Eastern European Camo, CADPAT/DIGIPAT Green, Flectarn, Jungle Camo Style (Green).
Purple Talon Brigade (PTB) - Taloria's small, but efficient defense force aimed at pushing back the RSG from claiming Taloria. It is made up mostly of conscripts, part-time home guards plus the president's elite force.
Loadout Requirements (Generally TAN, Black, Mismatched): Multicam & Multicam variations, Brown, Tan, Black, Grey, Civilian Clothing (jeans, plaid), Mismatched variation of any color load bearing gear.
At the discretion of the game admin, if your camo does not meet the intended requirement then you will be arm banded red or purple to suit your team

Additional gameplay rules and game information will be released in the coming weeks through updates to the TACSOP Google Doc and by each team's commander (OPORD) before the game.
Game organizers will assign each team a Commander who will be responsible for Squad organization.
